Every culture in the world celebrates the start of a new year, although the date varies with cultures and countries. January 1st means the start of a New Year, 2015, for billions of people. We are taught that it is a time to let go of the old, and embrace the new. But sometimes the old serves us well. A truer statement would be to let go of whatever hasn’t worked or change some of the things that have held us back and commit to make any necessary changes.
